Equity Pathways and Integrated Care for children and young people with Cerebral Palsy
Children and young people with cerebral palsy from the poorest neighbourhoods in Australia are “doing it tough”. They are 50% more likely to have more severe complications than their more affluent peers. They are also up to half as likely to receive the health and social services that they need. The EPIC-CP project will design and test the feasibility of a “social care navigation” pathway for children and young people with cerebral palsy, their families and service providers.
