Transforming Health Systems for Children and Young People
Our research focuses on three key themes:
We aim to address health system gaps that present barriers to care for children and young people with complex conditions. We want to bring gold standard health care to children and young people where and when they need it.
First 2000 Days
We aim to boost the health and wellbeing of children throughout their lives by discovering and implementing techniques that will help us optimise their first 2000 days.
We want to address health inequity by conducting research that focuses on children from priority populations. We include in our research children from Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander backgrounds, children from refugee families, children living in low SES areas, and children in out-of-home care.
